Beloved UK brand Marks & Spencer already made the expat community happy when its Food Halls opened across Singapore a few years ago. But now, at long last, it’s finally serving what it does best: fresh food.

With over 600 selections, expect crowd favourites like sweet English tomatoes, yoghurt, cheeses, hummus, smoked salmon, hearty soups and a whole array of ready-made meals like quinoa and soy bean – aka the perfect I-can’t-be-bothered-to-cook-after-work solution. Located in Wheelock Place (#01-K2), there’ll reportedly be fresh deliveries every alternate day, and new stores may open in the future.

But that’s not all: A Marks & Spencer cafe will also open its doors on Friday, September 2. Situated near the original Food Hall at the Wheelock Place store, the menu, with most items priced below $20, includes British classics like Fish & Chips and Afternoon Tea as well as curries, pastas, salads and sandwiches. You know where we’ll be tomorrow.
