Stranger Things 3

What it’s about: The return of everyone’s favourite teenage sci-fi series. If you felt the second season was a bit of a letdown compared to the first, the third season is already receiving rave reviews from critics.

Who’s in it: Original cast Millie Bobby Brown return as Eleven – only more powerful and confident while new characters also join the fray. Look out for ice cream hawker Robin, played by Maya Hawke (yep, she’s Uma Thurman and Ethan Hawke’s daughter).

Why watch it: Chances are, you already follow Stranger Things. And if you don’t, get. started.

When it’s available: July 4

Another Life

What it’s about: Astronaut Niko Breckinridge has made the search for AI (alien, not artificial intelligence) her goal and she’s leading a crew on a mission to explore the genesis of an alien artifact. As Niko and her young crew investigate, they face unimaginable danger on what might very well be a one-way mission – as these space jaunts invariably do in movies.

Who’s in it: ’90 favourite Selma Blair will be one of two main characters, while Battlestar Galatica‘s Katee Sackhoff will headline as astronaut-in-charge.

Why watch it: We’re always up for a sci-fi piece and with Selma Blair in it, it ought to be a pretty high production work.

When it’s available: July 25

Queer Eye

What it’s about: Here’s the gist of Queer Eye – group of five fabulous men with expertise in various topics such as interior design and cooking transforms the lives of people who could use a little “help”. The fourth season sees the Fab Five bringing their magic to Kansas City, Missouri.

Who’s in it: Jonathan Van Ness, Antoni Porowski, Tan France, Karamo Brown and Bobby Berk, all of whom have become household names thanks to the show.

Why watch it: The formula tends to stay the same but what keeps this reality show going is the fun antics the Fab Five gets up to as well as the tenderness they show to each contestant week after week.
