The innovative pear and wine curated menu pairs two unlikely items together for a slew of unforgettable delicacies. Start off with the pear jelly with white wine foam, elegantly served in a shooter glass. Then, indulge in the savoury bites, such as the sumptuous bite-sized tartlet filled with Moscato poached pear that has been cured in white wine and served atop a bed of smooth Stilton bleu cheese, or the William pear port wine bruschetta.
An afternoon tea is not complete without scones, and this afternoon tea features pear scones and pastries served with homemade jams and clotted cream. End off on a sweet note with an extravagant three-tiered stand of gourmet desserts that include treats like the caramel pear chocolate sable, bergamot earl grey mousse served with flaky feuilletine and strawberry marmalade roll with red wine jelly.
