Farmers’ markets in Singapore are nothing new, but this weekend’s Social Market by Spa Esprit-owned Open Farm Community is set to heat up the scene, with everything from gourmet food trucks to yoga and spin cycling sessions and a pop-up party with feel-good music and tropical cocktails to boot.

The restaurant carpark will host 25 vendors hawking fresh produce from sustainable food growers Edible Garden City; cold cuts from local delicatessen Casse-Croute; healthy acai bowls from Selva Foods; and everything from vegetarian beetroot burgers to locally-inspired street foods like bak chor mee hotdogs from Kerbside Gourmet, a food truck that touts itself as a social enterprise.

Why this is not just for the health-conscious: On Sunday, there’ll be a family-friendly affair dubbed the Tiki Takeover, where you can lounge on picnic mats and enjoy rounds of refreshing cocktails and tapas from 3pm till late with local DJ X.G. spinning nu school, hip hop, boogie funk soul and disco tunes throughout.

The only things you need to do before you head down: Apply copious amounts of sunscreen since this will be held outdoors, grab the opportunity to score a stylish new bag and don a pair of strappy gladiator sandals or slides. Nov 28, 9am-2:30pm, and Nov 29, 9am-4pm. Admission is free
