This limited edition of 30 numbered and signed portfolios of the most iconic illustrations of Ruben Toledo costs 6,000 Euros ($9,000).
For more than 15 years, the artist has created for the Louis Vuitton City Guide hundreds of unpublished illustrations – witty and full of inspiration.
Louis Vuitton releases an original edition of 30 portfolios of Ruben Toledo’s fabulous illustrations, which include 15 drawings printed on pure cotton paper. Presented in an elegant drawing box, this selection of drawings comes with a monograph of the artist’s work for the Louis Vuitton City Guides between 2000 and 2012. As a very sophisticated edition all the boxes have been personalised with an original artwork of the artist designed in Paris in September 2014. You get:

He has created incisive illustrations for top fashion magazines and journals including The New Yorker, Vogue, Paper, Visionaire, Interview and The New York Times.
Artist Ruben Toledo was born in Havana, Cuba, in 1961 and is at once a painter, sculptor, illustrator, fashion chronicler and critic. He lives in New York with his wife and creative alter ego, fashion designer Isabel Toledo. He is the author of Style Dictionary, a collection of his drawings and watercolors.
Fifteen drawings were printed in France, and are numbered and signed by the artist.

All the boxes are bound in canvas and hand-painted by the artist. This edition is published in a limited series of 30 copies numbered 1 to 30, available only in selected Louis Vuittons stores as pre-order. It will be released in spring 2015. Good luck geting hold of one.
