Everything You Want To Know About Bagaholicboy, From His Dream Collab To The Most He’s Spent On A Bag

We roped in Singapore’s most influential bag blogger as guest creative director of our Accessories Issue in April to help kick-start the 10th anniversary of his blog, and now, we’re bookending it. Because we’re nice. But also because we had such a good time realising that edition with our joint love for casting a fun eye on fashion that we thought, “Why not go bolder?”

Bags printed on cake (clockwise from top left): Medium Big Bag tote, $6,800, Celine. Plexiglas minaudiere with brass, strass and faux pearls, $19,510, Chanel. Lou Lou satchel, $7,110, Moynat. Brimley tote, price unavailable, Mulberry. Constance shoulder bag with fabric, $16,500, Hermes. All in calfskin unless stated

For starters, we have a running joke that he’s really a glorified shop boy, if the questions he constantly gets asked are anything to go by. So besides getting him to answer what you should know about Fall/Winter 2017’s accessories, we asked this camera-shy bag authority (that’s his hand making a guest appearance throughout this section) some very personal questions…

How many bags does he own in total?

“183… And counting.”

What’s the most he’s spent on a bag?

“$10,000.”

What’s the least he’s spent on a bag?

“$8.”

What’s his dream bag collaboration?

“Bagaholicboy x Hermes x Good Morning Towel.”

What’s the most annoying question he gets asked?

“How much does it cost?”

How much time does he spend online daily?

“25 hours.”

How many Instagram “Likes” makes him happy?

“500.”
