A Look Back At The Beautiful Ensembles From The First Virtual Haute Couture Fashion Week

Haute Couture moves to the digital realm this season, showcasing a full range of breathtaking looks reimagined in a wholly different setting.

For the first time ever, the world received an all-access pass to the front row of the esteemed haute couture shows last week as it enters the digital space for the first time ever. Unlike the traditional runways, we got a chance to enter the designers’ worlds like never before.

From Dior’s fantastical mini-film helmed by acclaimed film director Matteo Garrone that gave us a fairytale-like escape to Ralph & Russo’s use of digitally-created models of the future and even, Viktor & Rolf’s tongue-in-cheek expression of the change we’re experiencing during this unprecedented time – this year’s virtual Couture Week displayed unrestrained freedom in creativity and an appreciation for the fine craft in a whole new light. Above, we share some of our favourite picks we’ve seen this couture season.
