It’s time to head down to Burberry’s ION Orchard store. The newly refurbished store, which re-opened in March, is presenting an in-store experience celebrating the British brand’s iconic trench coat.
You’ll get to learn all about the famous Burberry gaberdine – the tough and durable weatherproof material was invented by founder Thomas Burberry in 1879 to make the iconic trench coat. In addition, trench coat imagery from the Burberry Archive, replica Burberry Archive garments and archival trench coats from past runway collections will also be on display, showing how the classic trench has evolved over the years.
Customers will also get the chance to monogram their very own trench coat with two letters in hand-applied goldwork cording, while “The Portrait Studio”, a purpose built photography set first seen at the Burberry February 2017 show, will also be in-store to allow visitors to share their images through social media.
‘Tales Of A Trench Coat’ is open to all visitors and runs from 10 April – 23 April, 10am-10pm at Burberry ION Orchard, #01-06, 2 Orchard Turn
