There’s a new kid on the block at Orchard Road. Well, new-ish, considering that the lifestyle destination at Como Orchard comes to us by veteran retail guru Christina Ong. The 19-storey space on 30 Bideford Road, around the corner from the Apple Store, is an exciting mix of a luxury hotel, fancy new dining spots like Cedric Grolet (you might have heard of the French patissier, whose opening here drew a queue that started as early as 6am) and Cote Singapore, as well as signature Como brands like Como Cuisine and wellness haven Como Shambhala.
And in case you were wondering, yes, there will indeed be fantastic shopping available at Como Orchard. The Como Group’s multi-label fashion retailer Club21 has opened up shop at Como Orchard with a two-storey, 8,000 sq ft boutique. The store will carry the retailer’s well-known curation of international luxury as well as contemporary designer brands.

Award-winning Italian architect Paola Navone is the brains behind the design aesthetic of Club21 at Como Orchard. Pictured here are various spots on the first floor of the space.
The space is designed by award-winning Italian architect Paola Navone, and features lofty seven-metre-tall ceilings that fill the space with light. You can expect to find both men’s and women’s fashion, jewellery, and even designer kidswear from Kids21.
The range of brands available at this boutique includes established luxury names like Alaia, Thom Browne, Oscar de la Renta, Rick Owens, Khaite and The Row, among others. There are also some new names to look forward to, like Yoon Ahn’s jewellery brand Ambush, experimental New York label Vaquera, Norwegian jeweller Tom Wood, and South Korean conceptual workwear brand Post Archive Faction.

Among the brands stocked at Club21 at Como Orchard is Marine Serre.
And because it’s Club21, which brings in a lot of the coolest international brands to Singapore, there are limited-edition collaborations in the pipeline to celebrate and mark this new retail destination. The first to kick things off is one with the Parisian brand, Ami. It comes in the form of boxy fit T-shirts in organic cotton that feature the label’s signature Ami de Coeur embroidery on the chest as well as ‘Singapore’ embroidered on the back neckline in blue. These are available in either black or white, at $330, and stocked exclusively at Club21 at Como Orchard.
