While it may be some time since we’ve last traveled abroad, it seems as though we’re still getting our sense of sweet escape – especially with the drop of Dior’s newest capsule collection, Around The World, in stores now.
Once again, artistic director Maria Grazia Chiuri taps the creative sensibilities of fellow Italian – the Roman artist Pietro Ruffo who had previously worked with Dior to create the scenography for the Fall/Winter Haute Couture 2017 show and the costumes for the Tiepolo Ball in 2019. This new collaboration showcases his painterly sketches that cast a modern reinterpretation of Monsieur Dior’s trademark lucky star.
Giving a refreshed new look to classic silhouettes like the Dior Saddle and D-Connect sneakers, this new capsule features enchanting illustrations that surround the connections between sky and land, continents and constellations, fauna and flora. Peppering graphic motifs and camouflage print, Dior’s Around The World line ($690-$9,100) will include a full range of bags, accessories, and footwear to choose from.
