When you have connections to some of the coolest taste makers and brands in the industry, it’s a given almost when it comes to creating meaningful and really awesome collaborations. So when the folks at Dover Street Market had to launch a series of Year of the Dog merchandise (because, hey, it’s that time of the year), the retailer turned to its stable of well-love street wear-inflicted brands for a range of T-shirts and sweaters.

Launching at Dover Street Market Singapore and its other overseas outposts on Feb 14, the collection ($70-$370), the outing taps on 15 brands it stocks such as A Bathing Ape, NikeLab, Undercover, Noah, Stussy and the musician Nick Cave. Among the standout pieces are a retro-chic print of an animal balloon on a piece by Expert Horror, a tee by Nike Lab the print of a growling German Shepherd, and a pink number with the print of a husky wearing devil’s horns by Iggy. It may not be quite the traditional route when it comes to festive dressing, but the street cred of these threads mean you wouldn’t mind donning them post-CNY.
