All The Buys You Need To Get Dua Lipa’s Masculine-Chic Look In Her Newest Single IDGAF

In case you haven’t heard, British singer Dua Lipa, our cover girl for the July 2017 issue, might soon be the new Taylor Swift. She’s the most nominated artiste at this year’s Brit Awards (basically the English version of the Grammys) and her massive summer hit, New Rules, has more views than even Tay Tay’s controversial single, Look What You Made Me DoNew Rules has racked up 914 million views on Youtube (at the time of writing) compared to Look What You Made Me Do‘s 827 million views.

Now, Dua Lipa’s just released her latest single, IDGAF, which has already garnered 26 million views within six days.

One of the most distinctive things about the new single is the styling in the video – which portrays Lipa battling against herself in two distinctly coloured pantsuits. Pantsuits, as you may be well aware, were one of the biggest trends last year and shows no signs of abating going into 2018. Inspired by the mannish outfits in IDGAF? Yeah we like it too, so we’ve rounded up the items you need to pull off the look:

#1: Double-breasted cotton-corduroy jacket, $1,405 (40% off), Maison Rabih Kayrouz,
Blazers were the ultimate choice for outerwear with fashion insiders at the S/S’18 shows and a quality one will last the ages, so make sure to get a good one. #2: Polyester shirt, $29.90, Mango
This cornflower blue shirt will make for a great contrast against the cobalt blue blazer. #3: Polyester wide-leg trousers, $35.90, Zara
This pair of red wide-sweepers will make a great option for work, Chinese New Year or simply off-duty (pair with a white tee). #4: Leather "GV3" belt bag, Givenchy
Givenchy’s brand new GV3 bag and the first to be designed by new creative director Clare Waight Keller, it comes in a variety of sizes but this belt version is the most interesting, as seen on the runway. #5: Metal and enamel earrings, Balenciaga
Bold, sculptural earrings were mainstays in Dua Lipa’s video and Balenciaga’s are immediately arresting with its red accents. #6: Brass ring, $203.50, Cold Picnic,
I love the unpolished vibe of this gargantuan ring by arty Brooklyn label Cold Picnic, which is available at EOMM, one of Singapore’s most well-curated fashion and lifestyle stores. #7: Canvas sneakers, $770, Celine
Pairing suits with sneakers feels really refreshing right now and Celine’s colour-blocked version is definitely my pick. I’m saving up for these babies. #8: Canvas sneakers, $49.90, Uniqlo U
Alternatively, a more wallet-friendly version would be Uniqlo U’s pristine sneakers. Like this?
