Danielle Guizio

female designer brands

Known for her graphic tees and ‘90s-influenced streetwear, Danielle Guizio’s eponymous brand has come a long way since starting in 2014 – the 29-year-old was on Forbes’ 30 Under 30 list just last year.

From denim jeans to signature sets, Danielle Guizio takes a modern deconstructed spin on traditional fits. Think cropped blazers, tailored cut-outs on denim tops and loosely draped cargo pants with one-too-many pockets. Guizio’s also managed to build a substantial following in just six years – when the brand dropped its own vintage denim line last December, it was rumoured to have 10,000 people on its waitlist for the exclusive stone-washed jeans.

And with her pieces spotted on It-girls like Kendall and Kylie Jenner, Bella and Gigi Hadid and Kaia Gerber, it’s easy to predict how big a hit this brand will be in Singapore.

WE11DONE

female designer brands

Ask stylists Jessica Jung and Dami Kwon how they’d describe pieces at We11Done, and they’ll say “rare and well done.” What birthed as an in-house label after the duo opened the cool concept shop Rare Market in Seoul is now the up-and-coming label that’s made its way from Korea to the West, thanks to its debut with ’00s Von-Dutch-esque graphic tees that played at memories.

With apparel that aims to blur the lines when it comes to dressing, apparel from We11Done are usually oversized and unisex. Some may pass off as regular basics at first, but the brand takes pride in adding their own touch to make pieces unique to the market through cuttings and fabrics. (Peep the alternative white shirt above.)

If there’s a way to describe We11Done’s fits, it’ll be “collage art” – the clash of fabrics, styles and silhouettes to bring a whole new fit. We’re 100% here for this brand.
