Moldovan fashion blogger Doina Ciobanu wore fishnet socks with a pair of classic pumps and a trench coat, injecting her look with an unexpectedly sexy appeal.

Australian photographer/stylist Amanda Amanda Shadforth used it as a way to add texture to a minimalist, polished outfit.

Amsterdam-based fashion blogger Beatrice Gutu also played up textures by pairing fishnet stockings with a chunky knit and a checkered trench coat.

Sydney-based photographer Helen-Jayne wore hers with neutral camel tones to play down the sex appeal and make it daytime-appropriate.

German-based influencer Sonia Lyson adapted her fishnet stockings for a more street look with a hoodie and lace-up boots.

Melbourne-based fashion blogger Kristy Wu paired it with loafers for a playful edge.
