#1: Gigi Hadid & Zayn Malik
From their futuristic armour at the 2016 Met Gala to being front row regulars at fashion week, Malik and Hadid are every millenial’s #couplegoals. The couple has an enviable ability to go from high fashion to streetwear cool – and look perfectly put together at the same time. Little wonder they’ve aced every paparazzi shot aimed their way.
#2: Beyonce & Jay Z
Queen Bey obviously slayed this year – she was named Fashion Icon Of The Year at the CFDA awards and turned up in the coolest costumes at the MTV VMAs (she ruled the stage in oversized fur cover-up and bodysuits). And the year might’ve been a rocky one for her and Jay Z, but their star wattage – and savvy style choices – didn’t disappoint. Just take a look back at their Halloween get-up, where they dressed up as a vintage-y Barbie and Ken, or the edgy outfits – band tee and bombers included – they wore for Kanye West’s concert.
#3: Ryan Reynolds & Blake Lively
There hasn’t been a moment when Lively wasn’t dressed fashionably even though she was pregnant. Reynolds, similarly, never fails to deliver in his classic tailored suits. They’re the quintessentially elegant couple that can be counted on to make us marvel at their impeccable style, on and off the red carpet.
#4: John Legend & Chrissy Teigen
What’s cool about Teigen and Legend is their uncanny knack for looking great while playing with prints and colours. Legend made bolder choices, like a printed Gucci blazer and a blue suit, while Teigen opted for eye-catching hues and luxuriously rich colours like burgundy.
#5: Chiara Ferragni & Fedez
Streetstyle star Chiara Ferragni has garnered a 7.5 million-strong following on Instagram thanks to her chameleonic ability to style pieces in unexpected, yet fun, ways. What’s turning heads now, though, is when she’s photographed with her new beau, 27-year-old Italian rapper Federico Leonardo Lucia aka Fedez. (Fun fact: He was featured on Ariana Grande’s remixed version of her hit song “One Last Time” last year, and is now one of the judges for the Italian version of reality show The X Factor). Why they’re a match made in heaven? Lucia’s outfits are a mix of street (think t-shirts and bomber jackets) and spiffy, party-ready looks, and Ferragni is already a pro at straddling both.
