Although celeb-tots such as North West and Blue Ivy have already sported miniature pieces from the fashion brand during former Creative Director Riccardo Tisci‘s reign, it is the first time Givenchy will be debuting an official kid’s collection under Clare Waight Keller.
Similar to its main men’s and women’s line, the latest collection will also be produced twice yearly.
With approximately 130 pieces in total (60 for girls, 40 for boys and 30 for infants), the collection targets newborns to 12-year olds. True to the house’s DNA, the entire collection has streetwear influences. From denim and bomber jackets to jogger pants, slogan t-shirts and even a selection of couture pieces, prepare yourself for some pretty darn well-dressed tots around.
The colour palette for the collection differs between boys and girls, and babies. The former sees the likes of stronger, bolder hues such as black and red (both signature colours of the brand) while the babies’ collection comes in neutral tones with the occasional touch of red.
Givenchy Kids will be released in July in selected stores and online. Prices unavailable at press time.
