All The Stylish People On And Off The Harper's Bazaar Asia NewGen Runways

In its sixth year running, the Harper's Bazaar Asia NewGen Fashion Awards crowns Indonesian designer Kelly Vallerie its winner. Here, a look at all the most fashionable fits on and off the runways.

This year’s Harper’s Bazaar Asia NewGen Fashion Design Award was clinched by Indonesian designer, Kelly Vallerie. Aimed at championing emerging designers from the region, the annual runway show featured 8 collections from Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia and Singapore.

Titled ‘FREAKS’, 23-year-old Kelly Vallerie’s collection won her the grand prize of a year-long scholarship at the renowned Istituto Marangoni, a cash prize of $10,000 as well as a spread in all four versions of Harper’s Bazaar. The 5-piece line-up featured sustainably-sourced and multi-functional garments, from deconstructed pants, skirts, pouches and outerwear.

Presented to a 350-strong turn out at Singapore’s Capitol Theatre, the crowd featured some of the region’s biggest fashion and beauty insiders – from Iman Fandi to Mae Tan. Browse on for a closer look at all the stylish guests who graced the event as well at all 8 collections.
