Lately, travelling abroad has been giving us more excuses to hunt for limited edition and exclusive merchandise specific to that particular city. If you’re swinging by Hong Kong in the coming weeks, here is one reason to swing by the city’s Harbour City mall in Tsim Sha Tsui.
Italian leather goods brand Tod’s will be staging an exclusive Asian pop-up in the mall to celebrate the style and versatility of its signature Gommino driving shoes. Happening from May 28th (as of press time, there’s no word to as when it will end), the event will allow customers to customise 11 different styles of the Gommino in just three easy steps.
These involve choosing the model; followed by the design element such as the colourway, stitching and pebbles on the soles; before finally monogramming your initials. The wait-list for the shoes would be 10 weeks before it’s delivered to your home address (so no need for extra luggage space or allowance). The even better news? Word has it that the pop-up event will head to Tokyo next, giving you more excuse to plan for that next vacay.
