Check Out Lanvin's First Ever Collaboration With Swarovski

What do you get when the oldest fashion house meets crystal specialist? A collaboration of epic proportions. French house Lanvin (128 years and counting) and Swarovski's first ever collaboration is in the works and we've got a preview.

#1: It’s an homage to the Jazz Era

With the geometric shapes and architectural styles, it would make for a perfect complement to any 1920s party you might have coming up. Daisy Buchanan would approve.

#2: They’re futuristic

Finished in gold and ruthenium, it’s a simultaneous homage to the 1920s while being completely contemporary. FYI, ruthenium is a rare metal that increases resistance to wear and tear. In other words, you’re getting more bang for your buck.

#3: They’re a throwback to Lanvin’s popular costume jewellery

Fashion lovers know Lanvin not only for its incredible clothes but former creative director Alber Elbaz also added a Midas touch to the house’s accessories – Lanvin’s costume jewelry became as popular as the clothes with its ‘ 20s-style grosgrain ribbon-ed oversized baubles.

Though Lanvin may have a new creative director in the form of Bouchra Jarrar, its strong accessories game looks set to remain at the forefront. Look out for this exclusive collaboration at selected Swarovski boutiques in February.
