When we saw it tucked under the arm of Kendall Jenner at Paris Fashion Week, the graphic black and white design of Longchamp’s first monogram made us sit up and pay attention. Known as the Longchamp LGP line, the jumble of letters is a nod to the Bauhaus movement (an art and design movement birthed in the early 20th century that continues to be highly influential) – lending a contemporary and fun edge to the collection that makes us think of art titans Andy Warhol and Keith Haring.

Not just on bags, the eye-catching monogram, designed by Longchamp creative director Sophie Delafontaine, features on accessories, footwear, luggage and ready-to-wear for both women and men, and was first teased on the runway at Longchamp’s New York fashion show in February. In an adroitly 2019 move, everything in the LGP collection is unisex, save for the sneakers. And it’s no one-off either thankfully; the LGP line will be a permanent addition to the French house with updates every season – the hype is here to stay.

If you’re as excited about the collection ($125-$1,690) as we are, here’s the good news: it launches tomorrow at all Longchamp boutiques. However, ready-to-wear styles, including a cute nylon puffer jacket and a relaxed sweatshirt, as well as footwear, will be  exclusively available at the Longchamp LGP pop-up, which takes place tomorrow till May 28 at Level 1 Atrium of ION Orchard.
