#1: The trompe l’oeil effect

Gucci’s standout Spring Summer ’16 show was a visual spectacle, and the dresses that came with trompe l’oeil sequinned ruffles were feminine yet eclectic – we can’t get enough of them.

#2: Upsized earrings

The bigger, the better – Gucci’s take comprised ornate, sparkly stones, while Alberta Ferreti’s was a nod to the Disco era and Stella Jean’s version was boho chic meets Tropicana.

#3: Clashing prints

Stella Jean mixed floral togas with chequered skirts, while Fausto Puglisi combined intricate embroidery with more modern print. The result: unexpected, fun, and definitely wearable.
