#1: Her red carpet looks are consistently rad.
From the scooped-back LBD she wore to the Golden Globes to the princess gown she donned at last year’s Emmy’s, Brown manages to pull off polished and elegant looks effortlessly. These outfits don’t make her look too mature or too grown-up; rather, they exude a girlishness and playfulness that matches Brown’s personality to a T.
#2: Her off-duty outfits are cool girl personified.
We have to give it to Brown: Her edgy looks (and accompanying poses) are always on-trend, from her cropped biker jacket to her retro ’90s shades. We can’t help noticing that her go-to hairstyle is a sleek topknot, which definitely helps to amp up the cool girl quotient.
#3: She’s a master of androgyny.
Sporting a shaved head for the filming of Stranger Things only served to accentuate Brown’s elfin and distinctly androgynous features. She’s also fond of slicked-back hair and baggy, high-waisted pants, which give her outfits a mannish appeal.
#4: Her versatile style has made her a fashion week darling.
Brown is a certified fashion chameleon, which makes her a magnet for big fashion brands. At New York Fashion Week, Brown wore a Calvin Klein by Appointment look. She later turned up in a puffy Moncler dress at Milan Fashion Week. The latter isn’t a design that everyone can pull off, but Brown certainly did – and with an air of confident sophistication to boot.
#5: She’s obviously got model chops.
Brown’s fresh-faced youthfulness is one of her most alluring qualities. What’s more, the fact that she is confident in front of the camera makes her perfect for magazine editorials or brand campaigns. So it’s no surprise that she was tapped to front Raf Simon’s first-ever Calvin Klein by Appointment campaign last January, and again for its recent #MyCalvins jeans advertisements.
Besides that, Brown has also graced the front of top-notch magazine covers countless times. (Really, how is she a normal 14-year-old?)
