This International Women’s Day, Net-A-Porter Drops 20 Exclusive Designer T-Shirts

In lieu of International Women’s Day, Net-a-Porter's asked 20 female brands and designers to interpret what women empowerment and strength means to them.

What does female empowerment mean to the modern femme designer? For Ganni, it’s the strength and power of a united front of ladies; For Isabel Marant, it’s cheering other women on with a simple “You go, Girl!”

In celebration of Net-A-Porter’s 20th anniversary and this year’s International Women’s Day (happening March 8), the fashion retailer has chosen 20 inspiring and creative brands and female designers to design exclusive T-shirts. It’s also the third year the fashion retailer is working with Women for Women International – a charity that helps rebuild lives of women in war-torn countries.

With each designer’s own interpretation of women empowerment and strength, the collection sees female-centric slogans and illustrations like Jimmy Choo’s wordplay of “Choos Women,” and Stella McCartney’s illustration from her FW19 campaign that shows women coming together in support and love for one another.

With all the different but equally powerful slogans, it’ll be a hard time to decide which tee to cart out.

The Net-A-Porter International Women’s Day collection is now available for shopping on Net-A-Porter, and T-shirts start from USS$49 (S$68). All proceeds from sales will go towards Women for Women International.
