Multi-label boutique Rue Madame opens its doors this month. Here’s why you should check it out.
First set up in Hong Kong in 2010 by Parisian Ariane Zagury, a former investment banker, the store makes its debut in Singapore with a tightly curated selection of women’s ready-to-wear and accessories from niche and designer European brands (every individual rack displays pieces from a particular label).
What Rue Madame is bringing in: Paris-based label Iro, known for its New York-influenced take on wardrobe staples (model-of-the-moment Gigi Hadid was spotted in one of their jackets), and French jewellery label Servane Gaxotte, which offers handcrafted doll charms that can be worn as pendants on necklaces, as earrings or even as bracelets. From $70 for an accessory to $1,800 for a dress, #03-13C Takashimaya D.S. (where Kinokuniya bookstore used to be).
