Pink has been all over the news lately – there’s the ever popular Pink Dot, held last weekend, plus celebrities can’t seem to get enough of the colour. There was also the craze for the unicorn frappucino just a couple months back. For Fall 2017 however, the sugary colour isn’t the only pastel colour holding court – greens, blues and purples also made appearances in the lightest hue of the family. Here’s our recommendations on getting on board with the pastel train:
Givenchy’s signature “Pandora” bag comes in baby blue this season and it’s the perfect note to kick off a pastel ensemble.
Marni has long been associated with artier types and this apricot-pink crinkled top will lend texture to your outfit.
Channel the late Jackie O with these pistachio green Miu Miu sunnies.
Want an effortless summer dress? This lightly ruffled number from New York stylist Lisa Marie Fernandez is the epitome of a romantic and versatile piece that will see you well anywhere you’re holidaying.
Add the palest touch of lilac with these double hooped earrings made with lustrous chalcedony beads.
I love a good hat and the classic boater hat is always good for summer, and this version by hat-specialist Maison Michel updates it in an unusual slate blue hue.
Instead of the usual summer slides, consider these elfin flats from Etro – they’re a head-turner with its rich embroidery and lovely sage green hue.
Shearling is big this Fall 2017 and this bag covered in the material will surely be a conversation starter.
Love your Converses? These Chloe sneakers give the same aesthetic but take it to the next level using leather instead of the usual canvas.
Vintage-esque knit tops are making a return to fashion and this sweet pink striped top from Fendi hits it spot on perfectly.
