Consider this our PSA to all the hypebaes and streetwear connoisseurs still hankering to get hold of the MCM and Puma collaboration launched on 24 May to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Puma’s iconic Suede sneakers with a series of apparel and shoes.

Last we checked, the pieces are sold out online on both Puma’s and MCM’s e-stores. Over in Singapore, the MCM Haus flagship in Paragon and the Puma Select store at The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands have reported brisk sales – not surprising when you consider the collection’s streetwear and hip-hop cachet.

The collection features a series of reinvented Puma T7 jacket ($450) and matching track pants ($370) and Suede sneakers. The former comes in a slouchier fit and embroidered with MCM’s iconic Visetos monogrammed canvas in a classic cognac and red-blue colour scheme.

Meanwhile, the Suede sneakers ($525 each) is constructed in the same MCM Visetos canvas and features a polished brass plate that carries the MCM logo and a unique registration number on the shoe tongue. The shoes were first released in classic cognac and white versions during the initial store drop at the MCM Haus and Puma Select stores.

But here’s the good news for those who missed the earlier drop. Limited Edt Chamber and Pedder on Scotts will launch their stocks for the cognac and white versions on June 8, while the Suede in red-and-blue colourway will be launched on the same day at MCM Haus.

So remember to save that date on your calendar.
