Puma has made a habit of collaborating with lesser-known — albeit, promising — fashion labels in the recent seasons. Succeeding tie-ups with Han Kjobenhavn and Outlaw Moscow hailing from Denmark and Russia respectively, Spring/Summer ’19 calls on emerging Chinese label Sankuanz, distinct in its directional streetwear-meets-tailoring M.O. that’s previously earned the brand a spot on the LVMH Prize shortlist in 2015.

Its designer Shangguan Zhe regularly draws inspiration from youth culture, and the Puma x Sankuanz co-collection ($55-$269) is no different. It comprises three iconic silhouettes from the German brand — the Cell Endura (a chunky, dad runner released in ’98), RS-X (whose hallmark is its running technology first launched in the ’80s) and, the Cali (a riff off the California kick released in ’82) — featuring on-the-pulse neon green inserts and a co-branded tag, a series of sports-inspired garments ranging athletic jersey tops, track pants and jackets, and accessories such as a bum bag and baseball cap. Puma x Sankuanz will available at the Puma Select store located at The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands, Leftfoot, Limited Edt, Limited Edt Vault Women’s, On Pedder, Tangs at Tangs Plaza and Robinsons The Heeren. From 2 February.
