Shopping In Singapore: Museum-Worthy Swatch Watches, Burberry's Puffer Game & More

Five of our favourite releases to snag.
Swatch has a habit of partnering with the coolest museums for collaborations. Cue its partnerships with the Rijksmuseum Amsterdam and the Thyssen-Bornemisza in Madrid. The third and latest one features the grand dame of French art and history – the Louvre. Five artworks from the museum land as quirky prints on Swatch timepieces ($109-$125). Take for instance the painting of Marie de’ Medici by Frans II Pourbus. That 17th masterpiece gets an irreverent update as the Hairyblue Mary print by Swatch which features the portrait of the woman with blue hair. Meanwhile, the Abduction of Helen painting by Guido Reni features a print of a cherub pointing to a red heart on the dial which is actually the date indicator. BIRTHDAY BONUS
Before sustainable living was a way of life, homegrown multi-label store Actually has been doing its part by retailing the popular repurposed truck tarp bags made by German label Freitag. So it is fitting that to mark the store’s 14th anniversary, Freitag has chipped in for the celebrations by creating a commemorative east-west shopper design it calls the F704 Cake Bag. This collectible design is specially created for Freitag retailers who have been working with the brand for more than a decade. 400 pieces of the bag will be sold from Nov 2 at $150 a pop and will feature Actually’s three-dot logo printed on the bag. Talk about a birthday treat. TWO CHAINS
Puma has launched the badass rapper answer to your chunky sneakers. Called One Piece x Puma Cell Venom Sneaker, the kicks are produced in collaboration with Japanese manga One Piece. It features detachable gold-tone chains wrapped around the metallic silver shoe design ($229). This flashy accessory is a nod to the comic which centres around the story of a pirate king tracking down a treasure. In keeping with that adventure theme, the soles are also printed with a map to the spoils. HAPPY HOUR
