The accessories label by Central Saint Martins College of Art & Design graduate Goh Ling Ling (above) that was founded in 1999.
Why know it
There aren’t many labels where you’ll find well-crafted accessories made out of sustainably sourced exotic skins at affordable prices ($99 for an iPhone case made out of lizard leather to $5,180 for a crocodile leather handbag). The soft feel and glossy finish to the bags is a result of a special technique, where each piece of leather is rolled with glass bottles by Indonesian artisans. Designs are classic in style (aka they’re not trend-driven) and come in vibrant colours, so you’ll always stand out in a good way.
What to expect
Buttery-soft handbags will be launched before the end of this year as an alternative for those who prefer more understated styles.
Where to buy
At the Ling Wu studio in the National Design Centre (#03-10).
