The F-List: Come May, the online fashion mogul/lobster roll restaurateur/social media superstar will add “designer” to her list of accomplishments when she launches her own brand Collate The Label at Singapore Fashion Week. She’s keeping details hush for now, but we got her to spill on her other style obsessions.
Favourite shopping haunt: “Shopbop.com! Aside from a good range of designers, using the site is a breeze and in turn makes it addictive. The (customer) service is great and available 24/7. Everything is well thought out and customer focused. I usually get my purchases within three days all the way from the United States, which is very impressive.”
Latest fashion buy: “Louis Vuitton’s Twist Lock shoulder bag, which creative director Nicolas Ghesquiere debuted this Spring Summer. I really like how he’s putting a modern touch to classic LV style. His designs appeal to the younger, trend-setting crowd and have in turn made the brand more relevant and relatable.”
Brand she’s into now: “London-based label Self Portrait for how it makes artsy, quirky elements (like the triangular fringing on this dress) feminine and wearable for the regular woman on the street. Doing so encourages women to test their own fashion boundaries and I appreciate that.”
