If you’ve been keeping up with Thom Browne, chances are you’ve already revelled in the stylised spectacle that was his Spring 2020 menswear show. Ballet shoes aside, all the cornerstones of Browne’s strictly tailored aesthetic were present. And for those who love Thom Browne for that very reason, you’re in luck. Come September, the American label will launch its first-ever bespoke and made-to-measure service in Singapore.
Set to take place at the iconic Hilton Singapore, the pop-up event will transport you to a space resembling the designer’s office and home. Expect sleek, clean, minimal and detailed – in both interior design and clothing. Not unlike the beginnings of Browne’s very first namesake store in 2001 – which he ran by appointment only – clients will be able to create an entirely custom-made full suit ensemble, from jackets to trousers. All fitting appointments will cater to both men and women and will be one-on-one.
For those looking to take your bespoke experience to the next level, the pop-up will be followed by a customisation programme the following week (September 19-23). Customers will be able to further personalise their piece from a selection of classic styles.
The pop-up launches on September 14 at Hilton Hotel Singapore and will be ongoing until September 15. In the meantime, browse the gallery of polaroids above – shot by Emma Louise Swanson – for some inspiration for your tailored separates.
