Ergonomics, at best, make for intellectual-looking designs, not so much sexy ones. Yet, London-based footwear brand Malone Souliers checks both boxes. Debuting at On Pedder, its handcrafted-in-Italy shoes sport buttery soft lining and carefully positioned heels for optimal comfort. The look, however, veers towards the dangerously coquettish.
For example, Fall is inspired by artist Rebecca Horn’s work that often explores sexuality and tension, resulting in booties with bold cut-outs and bondage-esque lace-ups, and glittery Mary Janes with criss-cross straps.
