Uniqlo X JW Anderson Spring 2020: An Idyllic Vision Of The British Countryside

Here, some of our favourite picks from Uniqlo x JW Anderson Spring 2020.

Jonathan Anderson has brought us to the English beach and the Fair Isle with his previous capsule collections for Uniqlo and his fifth outing with the Japanese giant sees him… laying out a picnic mat?The collection is replete with bucolic British motifs and tropes, such as gingham checks and generous use of patchworks, all done in Anderson’s signature colourful palette.

We’re particularly digging the loose, breezy silhouette found in many of the pieces, such as the gathered smocks and drop-waist dresses and as always, Anderson’s knack for accessories translates well with colour-blocked sandals and handily reversible garden tote bags that we predict will readily be snapped up.

Slated to launch March 27, this particular collection is also noteworthy with the debut of a childrenswear range that is very much a mini-me version of the main affair. The full range will be available at Uniqlo’s Orchard Central Global Flagship, Jem, and Suntec City
