Japanese brand Uniqlo has just dropped their newest UT (Uniqlo T-shirt) artist collection, and it’s none other than a Star Wars themed collection in celebration of the 40th anniversary of Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope (and also just in time for Star Wars day on May the 4th).
The designs featured in the line of graphic t-shirts were exclusively created for Uniqlo in collaboration with contemporary artists Geoff McFetridge, James Jarvis and Kevin Lyons.
McFetridge is an artist and designer based in Los Angeles who creates graphic images in fine lines and bold colours, playing with repetition, perspective, and simplicity. Meanwhile, Jarvis is a British illustrator and toy designer, and Lyons is a creative director, designer, illustrator, and typographer based in New York who has collaborated with big names such as Paris-based Colette, Nike and Converse.

The Star Wars UT Artist Collection comprises 13 designs and is available in men’s sizes. The collection is available in all Uniqlo stores and online at www.uniqlo.com/sg from May 1 onwards. Each UT is priced at $19.90.
