Debuted in Spring/Summer 2018, this is the Demna-ed version of a classically ladylike, structured top-handle tote — hand-painted with an in-your-face logo that’s so off, it’s cool. Available in XXS, S and M, the cheekily branded Ville comes this season in upbeat hues, graffiti prints, as well as a gingham pattern, which only add to its irreverence. Like all Balenciaga bags, it’s meant to take any ensemble (regardless pared-back or statement) to the next station.
In spirit of this, we’ve tasked local dancer Lum Lum to groove with multiple renditions of the Ville, spotlighting the hero accessory in its full tongue-in-cheek glory. Below, visual cues on how to mix-and-match.
