Search #FemaleGP2015 on Instagram and you will find over 700 selfies and OOTDs. That was the response when this magazine made its call for its annual Female Gorgeous People event this year. Now in its 19th run, the search aims to uncover future stars, social influencers and gorgeous personalities. The only difference: The search this year is about personal style. Not looks. Not beauty. Not popularity.
It begins with renaming the event to Female GP 2015: Best Dressed Edition. And from the numerous entries we received, 10 women and 10 men were finally chosen to be part of the final list. Over four days in September, they were given their own editorial spread that would appear in the November issue of Female. The task was simple, style themselves using the Fall/Winter ’15 threads from the various brands at Robinsons The Heeren and sneakers by Adidas Originals. Nars and Kimage provided the grooming.
As this behind-the-scenes out take shows, it was easy task for the bunch to showcase their fashion sense of camera. What stands out too was the diverse style each brought to the game. Think a Kiko Mizuhara look alike who impresses with her Goth chic and a performer who has no qualms rocking a Minnie Mouse-inspired do and shaggy coat.
From now till November, check out the OOTDs of the contestants as they show why they are among the best dressed. We know we will.
