The top two Singapore winners will compete for the grand prize during Singapore Fashion Week – against regional finalists Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand and Vietnam.

The Harper’s BAZAAR Asia New Generation Fashion Designer Award returns for its third consecutive year, with the region’s most promising fashion talents. Hosted by Harper’s BAZAAR Singapore, along with its regional counterparts, the Awards will see 10 emerging designers vying for the top spot during Singapore Fashion Week 2015.

The winner of the competition will be awarded a scholarship for a Master’s degree in fashion from the prestigious Istituto Marangoni (worth GBP26,700; $56,430) in either its Paris, London or Milan campuses. He or she will also have the opportunity to retail their collection to a global market through online retailer, Inverted Edge. Over and above all this, the winner and all 10 finalists’ collections will be showcased in the five sponsoring Asian editions of Harper’s BAZAAR.

Harper’s BAZAAR is always looking to nurture new and emerging designers; it’s part of our DNA,” says Editor-in-Chief of Harper’s BAZAAR Singapore, Kenneth Goh. “This contest is a great launch pad for young designers looking to achieve commercial and editorial success. With an international
platform like Singapore Fashion Week, the talented youth of this region get to showcase their hard work and stunning, curated designs—to editors, buyers and other industry cognoscenti.”
