Spend all day at Pedder On Scotts
Taking up the entire second level (all 20,000 sq ft of it) in Scotts Square is On Pedder’s newest retail behemoth. Shopping options are demarcated into seven zones that each have a distinct theme, from the men’s and women’s collections to areas dedicated to Pedder Red (the brand’s in-house contemporary footwear label), sports and weekend-appropiate gear. How it’s also doubling up as a lifestyle destination: There’s a pop-up by local beauty store Escentials taking place now, and Hong Kong cafe Coffee Academics will open its Singapore outpost there in November. #ShopForGood at Tangs
Now in its second year, the #ShopForGood initiative by Tangs kicked off on Oct 1 and will run till Nov 1. The campaign encourages shoppers to purchase with a purpose, with brands contributing part of the proceeds to a selected beneficiary of their choice for the entire month. Tangs will also donate 50 cents to the Singapore Children’s Society for every receipt generated. Events not to be missed include shopping with the campaign ambassadors – one of the five is the Female collective’s Charmaine Seah-Ong (far left) – on Oct 11, and a silent auction on Oct 29.
