From air-dried hair to the after-party look, Spring/Summer 2016’s hippest beauty trends come with a rebellious je ne sais quoi. By Moh Shuying.
Forget fancy blowouts and super-sleek manes – the new season is all about going au naturel (flyaways are welcome). For those with thick tresses, your mornings have gotten easier, because you can get away with a wash and go. Those with fine hair might need a coin-sized dollop of volumiser at the roots, followed by a quick blast with the hairdryer in the same area to avoid flatness.

Brands like Miu Miu and J.W. Anderson have revived an ’80s club look on the runway. The beauty look to match: dark lips, deep-set eyes, and a choppy cut a la Pat Benatar.
Dress, Sandro
Definitely the hottest accessory of the season. We love the look worn straight, but with a slightly chunky, “piecey” look to keep it modern.
