5 Facial Ampoules To Use For Flawless, Glowing Skin

These ampoules act as an immediate fix-it by boosting hydration and improving skin tone for glowing skin.

by ISABEL ONG  /   September 4, 2015

Glowing skin is essentially the product of hard work: A good skincare regime, sufficient water intake and rest. But if one (or all) of these are lacking, these facial ampoules act as an immediate fix-it by boosting hydration and improving skin tone. Isabel Ong recommends these.

5 Facial Ampoules To Use For Flawless, Glowing Skin
Laneige White Plus Renew Spot Ampoule, $88 (for a box of four)

The Korean beauty brand’s ampoules contain whitening powder to lighten blemishes, as well as a moisturising ingredient made of green tea extract that prevents the re-formation of spots. Apply after toner and before essence, and use it daily in the day or at night.

Sulwhasoo Herblinic Restorative Ampoules, $248 (for a box of five)

These ampoules restore damaged skin (i.e. sunburnt skin or dehydrated skin) by boosting protection against environmental stressors. Ginseng and milkvetch help to shield skin from harmful UV rays, while marsh parsley drains toxins and improves skin recovery. Use it every morning and evening.

Babor Hydra Plus Active Fluid ampoules, $75 (for a box of seven), Spa Esprit

This ampoule by the German beauty brand treats dullness by supplying hyaluronic acid to skin and preventing moisture loss. The result: Skin looks plump and well-hydrated.

DCS Super Aqua Ampoule, $53, Watsons

It contains super hyaluronate to provide skin with an instant boost in hydration levels. Its key ingredient, volcanic seawater from Jeju island in Korea, also provides minerals that ensure skin is healthy. Dispense a small amount on skin every night after cleansing and toning.

CNP Laboratory Propolis Energy Ampoule, $40.90

With propolis extract (for its antioxidant and moisturising properties) and hyaluronic acid, the Korean beauty brand’s ampoule keeps dry skin firm and healthy-looking. Mix it in with other products like eye cream or over make-up when skin feels excessively dry. Use two to three drops everyday in the morning and evening.

Like this? This facial by Dr Haach makes skin look hydrated and well-nourished.
