Mac Cosmetics Lipstick in Russian Red
image

One of the first red lipsticks you’ll probably buy from MAC is Russian Red and the vampy shade of scarlet was first made popular when Madonna wore it during her Blonde Ambition concert tour in 1990. This was a time when no one was cooler than the ultimate Material Girl. And till today, it continues to be the perfect shade of red.

Originally created for the Chanel Fall/Winter 1994 runway show, Vamp is a classic black cherry nail laquer shade that now goes under a different name, Rouge Noir. When it was launched, it was iconically worn by Uma Thurman in Pulp Fiction and Madonna in her Take A Bow music video.

Remember the orgasmic commercials that ran in the ’90s and early ’00s when Herbal Essences was all the rage? The brand has recently launched a range that has 0% parabens, colorants and gluten.

Revlon ColorStay Lipstick

Revlon ColorStay started a revolution… of deep, dark brown lips in the ’90s but what people loved the most was its staying power. Revlon still has the product today, although they’ve made multiple formulations of it.

Biore Pore Strips

Until today, there’s nothing quite as satisfying as peeling off a pore strip and watching all the gunk from your pores out there in the world. Good thing they never took it off the shelves.
