Yes, Antibacterial Beauty Products Are A Thing – Here, The Best Ones To Get

Here are the antibacterial beauty products that will give you your cleanest skin this season.

by Sofia Kim  /   March 16, 2020

Trust us when we say bacteria on our skin (the good ones, of course) can reap tons of benefits – think probiotics in skincare. And while there’s the good in such bacteria, we, too, at times want to include beauty products with antibacterial properties in our regime to rid off all the grime and gunk, especially so with the current Covid-19 virus situation that has definitely taken a toll on our daily lives. But besides hand sanitisers and soaps, there are a string of beauty products that come equipped with such properties to fight off unwanted bacteria.

Some key ingredients that are packed with antibacterial properties include tea tree oil, marula oil and rosehip oil. Found in numerous skincare products, these don’t just come equipped with antibacterial properties. Marula oil is known to contain oleic acid, which is a fatty acid that helps to nourish dry complexions while rosehip oil has phenols, which is said to contain antifungal and antiviral properties as well.

Here, we suss out the products you need to know.
