Beauty retail concept store Escentials has just introduced a slew of new — and very exciting — brands to its already robust lineup. Ahead, we clue you in on three of the brands to know and the products to get.

If you have been considering a beauty brand that offers effective yet gentle products and targets aged and mature skin, this is the brand you need to know. The American skincare brand is known for its Lancer Method (which, if we may add, are sworn by celebs like Kim Kardashian and Sofia Vergara) that consists of three simple steps: polish (with a scrub), cleanse and nourish (read: moisturise to stimulate the epidermis layer so skin can rejuvenate itself. The result: younger-looking, more radiant complexions.

The Method: Polish for Normal and Combination Skin, $120

Meant to be used daily, this gentle scrub includes pure minerals, as well as pumpkin and pomegranate enzymes to remove surface debris and dull, dry surface cells. Magnesium crystals have also been incorporated to exfoliate without abrading the skin.

The Method: Nourish for Normal and Combination Skin, $200

This anti-ageing cream is made with hyaluronic acid and peptides boost skin’s hydration levels to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles while avocado and fruit oils nourish skin.

#2: Gesgep

Founded by the celebrity makeup artist duo (Son Dae Sik and Park Tae Yoon) behind one of South Korea’s most popular skincare brand Son & Park, this beauty brand focuses on makeup and skincare that helps to enhance one’s natural beauty. The creative duo were the first Korean makeup artists to work backstage at New York and Paris fashion shows and even worked regularly with some of South Korea’s top actresses like Gianna Jun and Song Hye Kyo.  The brand reflects the founders’ individual strengths and experience, with Son known as the “master of natural skin makeup” and Park renowned for his ability to play with colour. All of the brands products are categorised into three simple groups: preparing, layering and sculpting.

Featuring stunning and highly pigmented shades ranging from deep cherry reds to vivid corals, this glides on effortlessly and provides a hydrating, long-lasting and silky finish.

One Drop Perfection Foundation, $60

Said to give amazing coverage comparable to that of concealers, this lightweight foundation is great for all skin types and contains nourishing ingredients like panthenol that provides vitamin B5 and reinforces the skin barrier.

#3: La Bruket

The Swedish coastal skincare brand is known for using only natural ingredients in all of its formulations to clean, nourish and protect skin from the harmful damages coastal and urban life exposes us to. The brand believes that skincare should be made simple, which is why its products are formulated without any extravagant technologies or ingredients, yet are still effective for the skin. The best part? Each product comes in a dark coloured packaging to prevent the ingredients from interacting with sunlight.

Broccoli is rich in antioxidants to protect skin cells while kakadu plum stimulates skin renewal with its high vitamin C content. It also has got hydrating properties to calm, soothe and moisturise.

Cotton Seed Eye Balm, $76

Made with cotton seed oil, blueberry oil and cucumber extracts, this hydrates, protects and strengthens skin cells while reducing the appearance of puffy peepers.
