If you’re the sort who takes delight in the lingering scent of hand creams each time you moisturise your hands or enjoys layering your hands with a lasting scent after washing them, you may approve of Penhaligon’s new launch.
The brand has released a trio of perfumed hand creams ($56 each) that is said to ease itching and inflammation while restoring skin elasticity.
The Luna Hand Cream contains a calming blend of orange, jasmine, soft rose and fir balsam while the Quercus Hand Cream is a perk-me-up with its scent of lemon and basil. Lastly, The Favourite Hand Cream contains a rich mix of mimosa and musk.
From local skincare brand, Heure, to Selena Gomez’s coveted Rare Beauty label, these brands are finally arriving in Sephora.
First up, is clean beauty advocate Bite Beauty which is all about infusing its products with superfoods and making sure that they are free from sulfates, formaldehyde, mineral oil, and other potentially harmful ingredients.
Even if you’re not bought into the idea of clean beauty, Bite Beauty’s range of lipsticks performs wonderfully and feels amazing to wear. Do check out its Power Move Hydrating Soft Matte Lipstick ($40) for its velvety matte texture that doesn’t feel dry on lips.
Another new-t0-store brand is local skincare brand Heure which is deeply rooted in science and technology. It has a unique encapsulation technology called SPHR, which helps skincare active penetrate and release them over time.
Besides efficacy, being a locally-designed label has its benefits as the products’ texture is lightweight and doesn’t feel greasy or heavy in our climate.

Cle de Peau Beaute which hails from skincare giant Shiseido and has loyal followers who swear by their best-selling Le Serum and La Creme, also makes its debut at Sephora.
The luxury skincare brand is launching skincare sets exclusive to Sephora from 20 July and features some of the brand’s signature bestsellers such as Le Serum ($380 for 50ml) which is known for its potent blend of actives that help stimulate skin’s natural regenerative powers.
Lastly, Rare Beauty has hit our shores. Singer and founder Selena Gomez emphasizes heavily on mental health and Rare Beauty celebrates everyone’s innate beauty, without the unhealthy pressure that social media inculcates.
Brand messages aside, its products are easy to use and come in wearable colours suitable for a wide range of skin colour. A must-try: Stay Vulnerable Melting Blush ($34) for its fuss-free cream-to-powder blusher that’s pretty difficult to mess up.
Fans of British luxury skincare and spa label Elemis can now shop it locally. The brand, founded in 1990, opened two stores in recent weeks – at Ion Orchard and Raffles City – after launching online in Singapore in April.
Through the years, Elemis, a pioneer in the holistic beauty space for its use of natural ingredients, has gained a following for its prestige skincare and aromatherapy influences. In 2019, French beauty brand L’Occitane acquired Elemis for US$900 million (S$1.2 billion).
The British brand is currently available in 45 countries.
In Singapore, its stores merge the brand’s history and modern luxury. The design concept is based on British Georgian architecture, featuring millwork, arched bays and floor tiles reminiscent of London townhouses.

The world is stressed and Givenchy Beauty knows it. The brand recently launched Ressource, a moisturising and anti-stress skincare range that aims to correct the effects of psychological fatigue on the skin and rebalance its moisture content.
Designed to be compatible with all skin types and sensitive skin, the range contains at least 96 per cent natural ingredients.
Must-try products include the Soothing Moisturising Treatment Lotion ($70), Fortifying Moisturising Concentrate Serum ($98), Velvet Moisturising Face Cream ($98), and Rich Moisturising Face Cream ($98), for dry skin. All come in recyclable glass or plastic.
