This highly-anticipated body collection (available at Sephora and its online store) comprises the trio of Kamili Cream Body Cleanser ($28), Sweet Pitti Deodorant Cream ($23) and Silli Body Lotion ($28). The formulae in the products are infused with effective active ingredients and plant oils that aims to soothe, hydrate and ensure that your skin feels – and looks – softer and more supple.
Each product in cult Korean skincare brand Whal Myung’s Minimal collection focuses on utilising only simple, high-quality and effective ingredients to create formulae that are suitable for sensitive skin types. Its key ingredient, WM 1897-P5, is derived from powerful plant-based actives, while other soothing ingredients used include eucalyptus (to absorb excess pore-clogging sebum amongst others) and azulene (works to calm the skin and reduces redness). The line comprises a Water Serum ($47), Cleansing Ampoule ($39), Capsule Skin ($35), Cream ($40) and Patch ($40).
Known as Derma Lab, the brand was developed together with dermatologists to create hypoallergenic and dermatologically-tested formulations specifically geared for Asian skin types that are prone to sensitivity. Not only does it help to treat, calm and soothe irritable complexions, the range also consists of four different serums that aid in addressing other skin concerns such as dullness, hyperpigmentation and loss of elasticity. The brand’s new line consists of its Hydraceutic Cera-Repair Cream ($39.90), Hydraceutic Ceramide Repair Liquid ($39.90), Hydraceutic Micro Micellar Water ($26.90), Hydraceutic Amino Gentle Cleanser ($19.90), as well as four different targeted serums.
As its name suggests, the two products in the line offer milky textures (think rich yet weightless) for an added sensorial experience. Its newest Milky Boost Foundation ($60) is made with micro-encapsulated pigments, which allows for the pure, white milk consistency to change according to one’s skin colour upon application. It also contains an Anti-Pollution Complex to protect the skin from the harmful effects of urban pollution while blurring imperfections and imparting a radiant glow to the skin. Meanwhile, the Lip Milky Mousse is similar to a tinted lip balm where it tints puckers with a vibrant hue and ensures long-lasting hydration. What else we love: the whipped cream texture that sits lightly and comfortably on the lips in a satin finish.
The brand’s long-standing Viva Glam Campaign, which supports vulnerable communities, will dedicate US$10 million (S$14.3 million) towards 250 organisations around the globe that are on the front lines of dealing with the Covid-19 pandemic. If you’d like to contribute to the good cause, consumers can purchase any current shade of the Viva Glam Lipstick – with 100 per cent of the proceeds going o the cause – or send an Instagram message of support using the hashtag #MACKissOfGratitude.
