Clarins’ Lip Oils are known to be well-loved and rightfully so. It’s a super nourishing lip oil that coats the lip with a juicy glaze while conditioning it at the same time. Its latest update is a two-piece collab with French fashion retailer, The Kooples. I’ve been religiously carrying this one in Light Stone around with me in my makeup purse because it’s such a handy one that does an amazing job of moisturising my chapped lips thanks to the hazelnut, jojoba and coconut oil. I especially love its sweet scent and that plush, plump feeling when it sits on the lips.
Ri Ri’s iconic weightless, cream-powder hybrid highlighter just received an updated brick red shade this month. While her way of wearing it is to sweep it across tops of cheeks, from brow bone to temple, then up from temple to above the brow arch, I’ve been enjoying using this as a shimmery blusher too.
Pro Filt’r Instant Retouch Setting Powder is now available in a mini travel-friendly size in the shade Banana, which is a favourite for brightening. Believe me when I say that this powder is so ultra-fine it almost feels like satin. Pro tip: wear this over bare skin if you’re aiming for a no-makeup look.
From the brand’s Lucky fragrance, which smells like a combination of white flowers and lily-of-the-valley, comes a new bath line in the same scent. This fragrance thus pays homage to Christian Dior, who would use to sew a sprig of lily-of-the-valley into the hem of his haute couture dresses for good luck. And in this month, I’ve been enjoying this nourishing body cream because it just makes for such a great self-pampering experience each time I slather it on.
A new addition to the Hermes Twilly fragrance lineup, this fragrance has been a new favourite of mine this month because it contains patchouli – a note that I tend to look out for in the juices of fragrance. This one’s a bold and sprightly fragrance with vibrant pink peppercorn, rose and patchouli notes. I’ve been spritzing it recently because it’s the best of three worlds – it’s woody, floral and spicy all at once. Consider me a fan.
Armani Beauty gives its best-selling velvet matte lip colour a gold-infused recasting this holiday season. Four of the velvet matte lip colous were recently given a gold-infused velvet matte lip color treatment. Our pick? The crowd favourite red in 400.
Through the years, the beauty brand has been releasing variations of chic packaging for its signature matte cushion foundation. This time, it’s been decked out in a gold rim and star motifs. And being a sucker for cute packaging like I am, this one’s an item that I just had to add to my collection.
As if Charlotte Tilbury’s Film Bronze & Glow wasn’t beautiful enough, it now comes in an even more glam Swarovsi-encrusted packaging that’s definitely one for the books and the one if you just want J. Lo’s sun-kissed, golden skin.
A sparkling golden powder made of microfine, multidimensional glitter that’s right on time for festival season. I’ve personally worn it to the recent Neon Lights festival and it made me feel the closest to J. Lo than I would probably ever feel. And that’s not all – this loose powder is actually lickable and tastes just like honey-flavoured candy.
Kenzo’s emblematic Flower Eau de Parfum has just been reimagined into a product that’s essentially the love child of two products I adore the most – the first being fragrances and the second, highlighter. This one’s a scented highlighter that’s perfect to lend a natural-looking shine to your beauty points (see: cleavage, collarbones and the likes) while making you smell like poppies. Wear this layered underneath the actual Eau de Parfum to further intensify the scent because well, more is more – right?
