A Round Up Of Our Favourite Paris Fashion Week Beauty Looks
1. Luminous, fresh complexions (Dior)

The brand’s creative and image director Peter Philips went with a very natural look that emphasises luminous complexions while highlighting the eyes of the models. “For this collection, I created an ultra-fresh, natural look for a perfect, transparent, luminous complexion. The eyes alone have a very slight “French twist”, with a narrow line of eyeliner (the Diorshow On Stage Liner in #091 Matte Black),” he shared. To emulate this look, prep your skin with Dior’s Hydra Life Fresh Hydration Sorbet Cream. Then, use the Radiance Boosting Hydra Life Cooling Hydration Sorbet Eye Gel on the eye area, followed by a light layer of the Dior Backstage Face & Body Primer and its matching foundation. Lastly, he gave the face a douse of Energising Hydra Life Fresh Reviver Water Mist for extra dewiness.

2. Dutch braids (Dior)

Hairstylist Guido Palau gave the models a youthful hairstyle that comprised of two thick braids that started at the top of their head, leading past their temples and perfectly framing their faces.

2. Metallic ponytail chains (Mugler)

Nevermind if you don’t have tresses long enough to pull off a long ponytail that cascades down your back, there was once body chains but now – come face to face with metallic chains that can be affixed to your natural hair to help you fake it ’till you make it.

3. Colourful feathered fringe (Dries Van Noten)

Dries Van Noten’s Spring/Summer 2020 ready-to-wear collection saw a myriad of floral prints and moody colours. Drawing inspiration from the clothing, hairstylist Sam McKnight used plume feathers in different shades and attached them to the forehead hairs as fringed bangs using his Easy Up-Do Texture Spray.

4. Blue arches (Maison Margiela)

Pat McGrath kept the makeup of models at Maison Margiela minimal and chic. The rest of the face was kept noticeably bare, with the exception of a brow and mascara. Models spotted a striking swipe of metallic blue liner applied generously under bleached brows.

5. Halloween ready (Courreges)

This look just can’t get any more appropriate for the upcoming spooky season of Halloween. We love how it still retains a touch of glamour. Consider Gucci Beauty’s Rouge a Levres Satin in Crystal Black for this onyx lip that’s still comfortably moisturising.

6. Black or white hair (Courreges)
image

Why make the decision between having white or black hair when you can have the best of both worlds? And a little bit of blond between, of course.

7. Block brows are trendy (Courreges)

There was a time when having block brows were uncool and shunned upon. Courreges sure is making it great. This time, more is more.
