In 1993, Evelyn Lauder co-created the Pink Ribbon symbol synonymous with raising breast cancer awareness and put the weight of the Estee Lauder Companies behind the movement to eradicate the disease. Today, the beauty powerhouse remains staunchly committed to the cause.
Besides retailing a special pin, six brands from its stable are also releasing limited editions of their hero products along with special tote bags designed in collaboration with a renowned Singaporean fashion artist and illustrator from October 1 to December 31 with part of the proceeds going to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
Taking inspiration from the iconic pink ribbon, artist Clayrene Chan created a romantic illustration that envisions her belief that inner peace gives life a new perspective – especially for patients undergoing breast cancer.
The artist in question is Clayrene Chan, who is better known by her moniker @Artclaytion on Instagram. Chan has designed a print that will be stamped on 1,000 limited edition tote bags (filled with a variety of Estee Lauder Companies products, of course) that will be given to participants of the Virtual Run/Yoga Partnership to support the #TimeToEndBreastCancer campaign.
Ahead, we list down the details you should know to do your part.
