The Eye Creams To Give Your Peepers A Wake Up Call

Because the skin around your eyes are the first to show signs of ageing and are definitely in need of some TLC.

by Sofia Kim  /   May 20, 2020

With back-to-back Zoom video call meetings and long hours staring at your laptop and computer screens, it is only natural for your peepers to be fatigued and dry. But what is equally important is the skin around it. The skin around our eyes is the thinnest one on our face, which makes it more vulnerable to damage and is more prone to signs of ageing thanks to blue light emitted by our electronic devices. This light can cause oxidative damage which results in hyperpigmentation; photo-ageing, which causes early signs of ageing; and a worsening of the skin barrier which causes the loss of elasticity and firmness. Plus, the additional strain to the eye will naturally make us want to rub and tug the skin even more often which causes collagen to breaks down which results in the formation of lines, wrinkles and puffiness. To give your peepers and the skin around them some TLC, here are 10 eye creams to consider adding to cart.
