Whether you need to use an oil cleanser (because you had put on makeup for your Zoom meetings), an oil-based serums or face oils, just remember to avoid using these products near your peepers. The glue used on the eyelash extensions may break down when they come in contact with oils and this will increase the chances of your extensions falling off. It can be tempting to rub your eyes, especially when you’re spending long hours in front of the computer. We like to keep an old mascara wand to brush out any debris on the eyelashes. As your own eyelashes grow out, they can cause your extensions to kink or bend in weird directions, so brushing them also ensures that they remain fluffy.
